Eric Ganci is an associate civil trial attorney at Casey Gerry Schenk Francavilla Blatt & Penfield. Before joining, Eric tried over 70 trials in his solo practice defending persons arrested for impaired driving.
Community is important to Eric and he is committed to giving back. Since 2018, he has been on staff with the Trial Lawyers College and teaches lawyers country-wide in all forms of trials. Eric also sits on the editorial board for The Warrior, the TLC quarterly publication. Eric is currently a board member with the San Diego Law Library Foundation, and the San Diego County Bar Association Technology Committee (vice-chair, 2021) and SDCBA Anti-Racism subcommittee member. He formerly served as a board member with Lawyers Club of San Diego (the 8th male board member ever) and the Thomas Jefferson School of Law Alumni Association (President, 2014).
Eric is honored to receive awards over the years, including TLSL Adjunct Professor of the Year (2015), Thomas Golden TJSL Alumnus of the Year (2015), and SDCBA’s Outstanding Service by a New Lawyer (awarded in its inaugural year, 2011).
Music and art are very important to Eric. He is a professional musician and has drummed and recorded in many styles, including jazz (small group and big band), symphonic, hip-hop, metal, and pop. Still active, Eric has been drumming since 2008 with his main group, Rock Out Karaoke, doing live-band karaoke. He is a yoga teacher, certified and registered through the Yoga Alliance RYT 200 program since 2020.
Eric earned his JD from Thomas Jefferson School of Law and his BA in Music Education from Northern Illinois University.
David S Casey III

David S. Casey III is an associate attorney at CaseyGerry. He specializes in personal injury and complex litigation. He has been recognized as one of the Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch since 2021.
In law school, David focused on trial work, taking classes in trial advocacy and complex litigation. He received a CALI Award in Employment Law and Technology for his paper analyzing American and European attitudes towards online privacy and the “right to be forgotten.”
While in school, David externed for the Honorable Anthony Battaglia for the Southern District of California, and worked at the much-admired Providence law firm Mandell, Schwartz & Boisclair, Ltd. He also attended the acclaimed Trial Lawyers College in 2018, where he spent three weeks undergoing intensive trial skills work.
In 2020, David participated in the inaugural year of the TAP program, where he tried multiple criminal cases as a volunteer deputy district attorney with the San Diego County District Attorney.
David is a San Diego native. He grew up in La Jolla and attended The Bishop’s School, where he played four years of varsity tennis. A third-generation attorney, David follows in the footsteps of his father, David S. Casey, Jr., as well as his grandfather, David S. Casey. In his free time David enjoys tennis, live music, reading, and spending time with his wife. He is also an avid skier and traveler.
