Stark & Stark is proud to announce that Shareholder Jeffrey A. Krawitz, Esq. has been elected to serve a three-year term as Vice Chair on the Board of Directors for Simon’s Heart. Jeffrey has been involved with Simon’s Heart since its inception in 2015.
The mission of Simon’s Heart is, “to create and advance innovative and evidence-based programs, policies, and research that prevent sudden cardiac arrest and death in children, teens, and young adults.”
In his new role, Jeffrey hopes to “see the organization continue to grow nationally and internationally and become the premier organization associated with Health Systems and Centers of Excellence for the prevention of sudden cardiac arrest.” His role responsibilities will include assisting in the coordination of board meetings and activities throughout the year, engaging in strategic planning and decision-making processes, and overseeing and managing the activities of multiple subcommittees in the organization.
Jeffrey is a member of the firm’s Accident & Personal Injury group. He concentrates his practice in casualty litigation focusing on complex injury matters, coverage issues and bad faith claims. This practice is highly concentrated on professional liability claims with a specific focus on medical negligence.
