Catastrophic injury?  Need a serious trial lawyer for a life-changing injury caused by someone else?  Joe Tunstall has tried over 100 cases throughout the Superior Courts of North Carolina on behalf of seriously injured folks.  Joe speaks on a regular basis to other attorneys, in North Carolina and nationwide, about how to use modern technology and updated trial techniques to win your cases.  When you lose work, have your family’s security at stake, and need someone who will take your case to trial if needed, Joe may be the right lawyer for your case.

Joe Tunstall is from Eastern NC and has not forgotten those hard-working roots.  His extensive trial experience includes personal injury, vehicle accident, and slip, trip and fall cases in front of North Carolina juries.  When your injury happens while you are working or your injury is so serious that you cannot return to work Joe and Susan O’Malley both handle social security and workers’ compensation as well.  Often in handling large cases you need to have a knowledge of insurance coverages.  Joe also speaks regularly to attorneys on how to determine and find more insurance coverage.

Joe began his legal training in Washington, NC while attending Washington High School, where he was a member of the Pam Pack and awarded a Morehead scholarship. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and of Wake Forest University with a Juris Doctor degree.  Joe Tunstall moved to Tarboro and joined Keel O’Malley, LLP in 2000. In 2006 Joe became a partner and the Firm was renamed Keel O’Malley Tunstall, PLLC. He practices in both our Raleigh and Tarboro offices.
