Stark & Stark is proud to congratulate Shareholder Denise Mariani, Esq. on receiving the Community Quarterback Award from the United Way of Greater Mercer County during their 4th Annual United in Impact Awards on April 30th.
The United Way of Greater Mercer County is a local non-profit organization that provides programs and opportunities for individuals and families who are working but are unable to afford basic necessities. This award recognizes an individual who has shown true leadership, dedication, and passion for helping the community.
“Receiving this award from United Way of Greater Mercer County, which does so much for our community, is such an honor,” said Denise. “Mercer County has been my home for my entire life, and it is my privilege to be a part of this community and give back to it whenever possible. Thank you, United Way of Greater Mercer County, for all you do.”
Denise is Chair of the firm’s Nursing Home Negligence Group, where she represents the families of residents and patients who, through negligence or abuse, have died or been seriously injured in a nursing home, assisted living facility, rehabilitation center, group home, or hospital.
A native of Trenton, NJ, Denise currently serves as a Board Member on the Princeton Mercer Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Women in Business Alliance, where she also serves on the subcommittee to plan the New Jersey Conference for Women. She is also a Founding Board Member of I Believe in Pink, which raises money for victims of breast cancer in Mercer County and the surrounding areas.
